Amy Da-Peng King is a contemporary artist whose Chinese Brush Painting style incorporates traditional and western art techniques. Her work is best known for its fine brushwork and close attention to detail. Her compositions include large-scale landscapes with bold and linear styles, pour-ink techniques integrated with Chinese calligraphy.
Amy Da-Peng King was born in Taiwan. She has studied Chinese brush painting with several masters in Taiwan at the age of 13. In 1979, she moved to California and studied fine arts at the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland where she earned a BFA Degree in Painting.
