Any experiences using Comfree as a buyer's agent? So we are looking at houses, and of course every real estate agent at the open houses want to know if we have a buyers agent. Not surprising since they'll net an extra $10K if they get both sides of the commission (assuming 5% on a $400K deal).

May 24, 2012 · Comfree has 17 listings in Ottawa altogether at the moment so not many buyers look on their site. I've sold 3 homes in the past, the first one cost me about 30 thousand in commissions. I was 25years old and didn't know about the alternatives, lesson learnt. The last house I sold I used the Usher Group.

Any recommendations on grapevine vs comfree. I have used grapevine before and have had positive experiences with them for rentals. It just seems that comfree has a lot more traffic. Functionality wise they both seem to offer similar services (listing on MLS, 3 packages, photos, offer review etc).
