    Darla Kay Anderson has been involved in a number of Pixar films, including producing Cars, Monsters, Inc., A Bug's Life, Toy Story 3, and Coco. She started at Pixar in 1992 as an executive director for commercials and short films.

    Anderson won a Golden Satellite Award for A Bug's Life, a BAFTA award for Monsters, Inc., a Producer's Guild Award for Cars and an Academy Award for Coco.

    Anderson was born and raised in Glendale, California. She studied environmental design at San Diego State University. Before coming to Pixar, she worked as an executive producer at Angel Studios.

    She has a dog named Boot and a cat named Biscuit. Darla from Finding Nemo is named after her.
