Denise Perrier (1939-2021) is one of the foremost blues and jazz vocalists in the San Francisco Bay Area. In a career spanning over three decades, Perrier has performed throughout the United States, Europe, and the Far East. She is known for her tributes to Dinah Washington and Bessie Smith.
Perrier was on her way to a career as a blues and jazz headliner that took her to Australia, Japan, Latin America, Europe and Cuba, where she was heralded as the second coming of Billie Holiday.
