Apr 2, 2024 · But after browsing the rules, Divine Right looks like a big random dice chucking affair to me. Is there any chance that the combat rules will be revised with the planned expansion? I see a lot of love in this forum for Divine Right. Can somebody help me understand what makes this game so great?
Apr 8, 2024 · Divine Right was originally released by TSR in 1979 and it’s back! Like most retro fantasy hex-chit games, there is a lot packed into this one. But like most modern reprints of those games, this one comes with a modern lens that makes it much less of a slog.

Updated basic and advanced rules from the game's author Revisions to the game board Special CDROM including many extras such as back story material (including explanation on the changes to the board), pictures and photos of the game's creation, and even strategy tips!
A new addition is the CD/ROM that comes with the game. The CD/ROM contains .PDF files for all of the rulebooks (basic, intermediate, and advanced), the counters, and the cards. Should you lose any of the pieces to the game (except the map) you have the ability to re-print replacements.
