Dr. Seeley’s master’s project looked at validating biomarkers of chronic stress in ring-tailed lemurs. Currently her PhD research is validating and applying these metrics to sifaka lemurs both under managed care and in their native ranges.

Katie Seeley, DVM, DACZM, graduated with her veterinary degree from Cornell University in 2011. After graduation she worked as a veterinary intern at the National Aquarium in Baltimore, Maryland and at the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium in Tacoma, Washington.
