Severe DepressionChronic Pain SyndromesPatients are required to have normal blood pressure prior to infusion, as ketamine increases blood pressure and heart rate.Most patients know within 24 hours of treatment if ketamine is having a positive effect.Treatments should take place in conjunction with a primary caregiver and/or therapist.Treatments are not covered by insurance.
