American Wedding is the twelfth song from Frank Ocean's debut mixtape Nostalgia, Ultra (2011). It is a lengthy track about the longevity of marriages in America, telling the narrative of a young marriage that was called off not long after the ceremony. James Fauntleroy sings the song's outro which is a separate medley about having a dream and having it come true.

Much like "Strawberry Swing" and "Nature Feels" from the same project, the song is built around an entire instrumental track of another song -- this one of The Eagles' 1976 track "Hotel California." Unlike the others, this one faced significant pushback from the original author. Don Henley, the lead singer of The Eagles, threatened legal action for Frank's use of the track and went on to call him arrogant in 2014.
