Franz Anton Pilgram war ein österreichischer Architekt des Barocks. Seine Ausbildung erhielt er unter anderem bei Johann Lucas von Hildebrandt. Im Jahr 1862 wurde in Wien-Margareten die Pilgramgasse und 1867 die Pilgrambrücke nach ihm benannt. Er ist der Vater des Astronomen Anton Pilgram.

Anton Pilgram (also Anton Pilchramb) (around 1460, Brno (?) – 1516, Vienna) was a late medieval Moravian and subsequently Austrian architect and sculptor active in the area of today's Czech Republic ( Moravia ), Austria and western (Germany) Swabia.
Franz Anton Pilgram was commissioned to design the building complex according to the standards of the order. The first hermitage was finished in 1736, and by 1770, 17 monk's cells were completed. The convent was built between 1746 and 1752, and the foundation stone of the church was laid in 1753.
