    You can use Street View to explore places more closely. Zoom in to check out buildings, landmarks, bridges, and more.Tip: Street View images aren’t available everywhere. Discover where Street View is available.

    1. On your computer, open Google Earth.

    2. Click a place or search for a location.

    3. At the bottom, click Pegman .

    4. Select a highlighted area.

    Tip: If areas are highlighted in blue, you can find images of those places in Street View.

    Change your view

    To exit Street View, at the top left, click Back.

    • 3D Buildings and Models. When you zoom into any metropolitan area, both Google Earth and Google Maps display a mix of hyper-realistic textured buildings and 3D models.
  3. Activating Street View in both the Maps and Earth websites is similar: Once you've found the location you want to look at, click the Pegman icon in the lower right corner to turn on Street View. The roads that have Street View will have a blue line running down the middle. Scenic spots and buildings that you can see inside have a blue circle.
