Unbeknownst to Hercules, Meg is Hades' slave due to selling her soul to him to save her boyfriend, who eventually left her for another woman. When Meg mentions Hercules to Hades, he realizes Pain and Panic's failure and plots to finish off Hercules properly.

Mar 6, 2022 · Hades was originally meant to be portrayed as a serious and somber villain in Disney’s Hercules, but that all changed when James Woods got the role. In the animated film, the motor-mouthed Lord of the Underworld plotted to overthrow his brother Zeus by unleashing the Titans.
Synopsis. Based on both the legend of Hercules and Heracles. On Mt Olympus, Zeus and his wife are celebrating the birth of their son, Hercules. The Lord of the Underworld, Hades, is also invited, though is not at all pleased with the birth of Hercules.
