Schenley High School, located at Bigelow Boulevard and Centre Avenue, was designed by architect Ed Stotz. The school opened for students on October 2, 1916, and was the first school built in the United States that cost over $1 million to construct.

Allegheny High School was the first high school in the City of Allegheny. The first sessions at the school were held in a four-room frame building on Sherman Avenue in 1883. In 1889 a new structure (pictured here) was erected on the same site, and in 1904 an addition facing Arch Street was built.
Hermann I (German: Hermann von Cilli, Slovene: Herman Celjski; around 1333 – 21 March 1385), Count of Celje, was a Styrian nobleman, who was head of the House of Celje between 1359 and 1385. In the first decade, he ruled together with his older brother Ulrich .
The Central Catholic Hall of Fame was established to recognize and honor alumni who exemplify the traditions and values of our school. Eighty-nine alumni from various backgrounds have been inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Hermann I, Count of Celje, was a Styrian nobleman, who was head of the House of Celje between 1359 and 1385. In the first decade, he ruled together with his older brother Ulrich. After Ulrich's death, Hermann took over the custody of his nephew William and ruled as the de facto head of the family.
