I just watched the movie and searched around the net to find some discussions about the movie, but to me, it seems like most people take High Tension too literally. The best hint of what actually happend is the first and the last scene: You see all the wounds on her body and face and none resemble the wounds during the "killer chase".

Recently, I saw Haute tension a.k.a. High Tension. I could follow the movie well until the weird twist in the end where we are shown that Marie and the killer is the same person (in Marie's body).
