House of Musicat Schillerplatz. The House of Music is a popular and lively meeting place for music lovers in the heart of Stuttgart. It is where the Württemberg State Museum exhibits the most outstanding pieces from its important collection of historical musical instruments.

Our recent trip to Stuttgart brought us to this awesome museum of musical instruments. It’s free admission (donations accepted) makes it attractive for families. In addition to seeing these beautiful instruments, there is an upstairs floor of hands-on, interactive musical instruments for children and adults to play on.
A simple tune of two long lines and a number of repeated tones, STUTTGART has true congregational appeal. This tune has been traditionally used for "Come, Thou Long-Expected Jesus." Sing the hymn in harmony in a broad tempo.
