Description. The striking rock summit directly above Oberammergau, the Kofel, has a great view despite its low altitude. The climb is not long, but it is tough. Although it is very well secured with many steel ropes, you should still be absolutely sure-footed and free from giddiness in order to master the “easy” climbing.
