May 7, 2024 · Retirement Ceremonies. Eligibility: USNA Alumni (regardless of duty station) and military service members currently stationed at USNA are eligible to retire at the Naval Academy. If eligible, a standard retirement ceremony setup will be provided and funded by the Office of the Superintendent.

If you attend USUHS (the military medical school), and get to 20+ and retire, it's my understanding that you then get credit for those four school years in your retirement pay.
