Definitely many shots here in which the 4K contains noticeably sharper detail than the Blu-Ray. Incidentally, while watching the Blu-Rays, I noticed quite a few shots in which the focus mark was either missed or fudged — close enough for TV at the time, but visibly out of focus in HD.
I have only ever seen the pilot movie about fifteen years ago, but remember enjoying it and wanting to give it a shot. The DVD set is $28 and the blu ray is $48. Is there a huge difference for a first timer to watch and enjoy this series? Or will I be fine with the DVDs?
