Flic Story is a French crime thriller released on 1 October 1975, based on the autobiography of the same name written by French police detective Roger Borniche. Both film and book portray Borniche's nine-year pursuit of French gangster and murderer Emile Buisson, who was executed on 28 February 1956.

Oct 24, 2020 · Delon, in a cool jacket with three pleats in the back and a great raincoat, is effortlessly charismatic, but interestingly varies his screen persona by playing a conscientious police inspector (unusually for a Delon character, Borniche often smiles) who goes against screen convention.

Based on a true story which takes place in 1947, Buisson is a psychopath who enjoys finding excuses for blowing people to oblivion while ostensibly just robbing them. In his deranged way, Buisson achieves some kind of harmony with Borniche and the police.
