BALTIMORE, MD (May 8, 2023) - It is with heavy hearts that KIX announced their retirement from performing live. Lead singer, Steve Whiteman made the announcement from the stage at M3 Festival at Merriweather Post Pavilion on May 7, 2023. "After much thought we have decided to call it a career,” said Whiteman.
Kix ruled MTV with ballad ‘Don’t Close Your Eyes’, and dominated rock radio with ‘Cold Blood’. Along the way, albums such as Midnite Dynamite (1985) showed a band on the rise, and won Kix a legion of loyal fans. In 2012 Kix are still an active force and offers fans this live CD and DVD package recorded in their hometown.
