loveLife is a youth focused HIV prevention initiative in South Africa. The overall aim of loveLife is to reduce the rate of new infections in young people, in order to reduce the overall prevalence of HIV in South Africa, which stands at 10.9% (2008) of the population.
The New loveLife Trust, also known as “ loveLife ”, is a South African non-profit youth organisation that was established in 1999 as a joint initiative of leading South African non-governmental organisations, private foundations and the South African government.
LoveLife’s GroundBREAKER programme creates a relatable framework for community activations. The GROUNDBREAKER network offers loveLife programmes in schools, organizes events, sets up sports leagues, organizes sport and recreational activities and facilitates discussions at local level.
