Death. It is possible that Neferure died during the reign of her mother. She is mentioned in Senenmut's first tomb, which he had built in Regnal Year 7. Neferure is also depicted on a Year 11 stela in Serabit el-Khadim, but is completely absent from Senenmut's second tomb, which dates to Year 16 of Hatshepsut.

Neferure is also depicted on a Year 11 stela in Serabit el-Khadim, but is completely absent from Senmut's second TT353 tomb, which dates to Year 16 of Hatshepsut. It is therefore plausible that Neferure died prior to Year 16 of her mother's reign.
The remainder of Princess Neferure’s life is somewhat mysterious. It may be that she married her half-brother, Crown Prince Tuthmose III, before he became Pharaoh and they may have had a child called Prince Amenemhat, and Princess Neferure then died as she was never given the full Queenly Titles alongside her half-brother.
Neferure was never recorded as his great wife but it seems they were married. She might have died before he became sole ruler. Neferure most likely died between the years eleven and sixteen of her mother’s reign. Belief that she was the mother of Thutmose III’s heir Amenemhat are most likely untrue from looking at the historical evidence.
