The Scrigno is the structure suspended over the Lingotto building’s roof. It was designed in 2002 by Renzo Piano to preserve the 25 extraordinary masterpieces collected by Giovanni Agnelli and Marella Caracciolo and donated to the Pinacoteca.

Designed by Renzo Piano, the Pinacoteca Agnelli was founded to preserve and enhance the historic collection of works donated to the city by collectors Giovanni and Marella Agnelli, displayed in a structure suspended on the roof of the Lingotto and called ‘Scrigno’.
