3. About the Complex. Constructed in 1963, Rip Hewes Athletic Complex includes a 10,000 seat football stadium, two softball fields (Colby & Bottoms Fields), and one high school/college-size baseball field (Pittman Field). The press box at the stadium was renovated in 2008.

The renovations included a new Daktronics Video Board, AstroTurf playing surface, state-of-the-art Musco sports & parking lot lighting, new locker rooms, new concessions/restroom facility, and newly resurfaced parking lots with landscaped islands.
