Robert I, Count of Alençon (died 8 September 1217, in Morteveille [1] ), of the house of Montgomery - Bellême, was Count of Alençon from 1191 to 1217. He was the second son of John I, Count of Alençon, and of Béatrix of Maine. Biography. His father died in February 1191 and his older brother in May 1191, which made him the new count of Alençon.

Peter I, Count of Alençon. Peter I of Alençon (c. 1251 – 6 April 1284) was the son of Louis IX of France and Margaret of Provence . He became Count of Alençon in 1269 and in 1284, Count of Blois and Chartres, and Seigneur de Guise in 1272 and 1284. He was also Count of Perche.
He married Beatrix of Maine, daughter of Elias II, Count of Maine, and Philippe, Countess of Perche. [2] John and Beatrix had six children: John II (died May 1191), Count of Alençon, succeeded his father. Robert (died 8 September 1217), Count of Alençon, succeeded John II.
