Ossai hails from Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria. He is the first child of his parents. He studied Food Technology at the University of Agriculture, Ogun State. As a youngster, his dream had been to be a medical doctor but because of his restless nature, he had to dump the idea and opt for acting.
As an actor, producer and entrepreneur, Emeka runs his own production outfit called, Golden Pyramid Production Company. He is the producer of the two TV series called, Comfort Zone. Some of the movies he has featured in include; Checkpoint, One Life, Women at Large, Greatest Weapon, Occultic Wedding, Greatest Weapon and Executive Mess.
Emeka lost his first wife, Jennifer in the late 1990s. However, he has since remarried and today, his wife has delivered a set of twins - Chukwuka and Chukwuamaka Ossai.
