Soul Shards is a simple mod that allows you to gather the souls of the creatures you slay into gem fragments. By default, the mod is gated to be placed just after entering the Nether. To obtain a shard, create a structure and right-click the center with a diamond, like so: The first kill you get with a Shard binds that shard to the killed entity.
