St. Florian's Gate or Florian Gate (Polish: Brama Floriańska) in Kraków, Poland, is one of the best-known Polish Gothic towers, and a focal point of Kraków's Old Town. It was built about the 14th century as a rectangular Gothic tower of "wild stone", [2] part of the city fortifications against Tatar attack.
St. Florian’s Gate is situated in the north of Krakow’s Old Town at the end of Florianska Street, and is a short 5-minute walk from the Main Square. It is a 15-minute walk from Krakow’s train station, and the nearest tram and bus stop is Stary Kleparz, a 5-minute walk away.

Feb 10, 2015 · This city gate offers you a fantastic view of the street all the way up to St Mary’s Basilica. Our local Gide explained that this was one of the old city gates which had been restored and redeveloped as is now part of the Royal Passage for important visitors to the City.
