It’s the liveliest city in the province and where most of the population lives. It’s also home to the biggest airport, making it much easier to visit than other parts of the province.

- Cape Spear Lighthouse National Historic Site: Cape Spear Lighthouse National Historic Site is the most easterly point in North America. It is another popular attraction in St. John’s.
- The Rooms: The Rooms is Newfoundland and Labrador’s largest public cultural space and is located in downtown St. John’s. This museum and art gallery complex features exhibit on the province’s history, culture, and natural environment.
