If they loss, Team 5d's would still duel and end up beating Team Catastrophe like they did in their second round and likely Team Unicorn would end up fighting Team Ragnarok or Team New World instead and lose HORRIBLY; making Team 5ds realize they need to get better with their teamwork to win.

I don't think Team Unicorn would be able to beat Team Ragnarok as a whole. Team Ragnarok would then promptly be killed by Team New World. They have no way to prevent their Gods from being absorbed and each of the Meklords are 5 monsters each with a different ability.
