Jun 17, 2015 · The Last Sunset (1961) Mark Franklin June 17, 2015 1960s, 1960s featured. Kirk Douglas is Brendan O’Malley, a fast gun who heads to Mexico in search of a long lost love (Dorothy Malone as Belle). Hot on his trail is Dana Stribling (Rock Hudson), determined to take O’Malley back to Texas to hang for the murder of his brother-in-law.
Action Western. Brendan O'Malley arrives at the Mexican home of old flame Belle Breckenridge to find her married to a drunkard getting ready for a cattle drive to Texas. Hot on O'Malley's heels is lawman Dana Stribling who has a personal reason for getting him back into his jurisdiction. Both men join Breckenridge and his wife on the drive.
