The Awesomes is an American adult animated comedy television series created by Seth Meyers and Mike Shoemaker for Hulu. Meyers and Shoemaker serve as executive producers alongside Lorne Michaels. It debuted on August 1, 2013 and ended on November 3, 2015.
The Awesomes are transported to a parallel world where they meet their evil doppelgängers, "The Astoundings." Since everything is backwards on this world, they seek an unlikely ally in a kind Italian man named Dr. Benicchio - the only one who can help them find a way back home.
The Awesomes are the successors to the group left vacant after Mr. Awesome retired and his chosen lineup decided to go their separate ways. They are led by Mr Awesome's son, Professor Doctor Awesome. They compose the main cast of the Hulu original series of the same name.
