He was a Duke of Płock, Rawa Mazowiecka, Gostynin, Sochaczew and Belz during 1426-1427 jointly with his brothers. He was the fourth son of Siemowit IV, Duke of Masovia and Alexandra of Lithuania, daughter of Algirdas.
