The Art of War. Sun Tzu. Translated from the Chinese By Lionel Giles, M.A. (1910) Written in China in the late sixth century BC, The Art of War is one of the oldest and most celebrated books on military strategy in the world. The book is attributed to Sun Tzu, a high-ranking military general and strategist of the Kingdom of Wu.
Duke Ulrich of Württemberg (8 February 1487 – 6 November 1550) succeeded his kinsman Eberhard II as Duke of Württemberg in 1498. He was declared of age in 1503. His volatile personality made him infamous, being called the "Swabian Henry VIII " by historians.
