   How much does it cost to stay at Volcano House?

   • You must book the cabins months in advance as there are only 10 cabins. They are a bargain at only $80 a night and sleep 4 people comfortably. The cabins are about a 3 mile drive from the Volcano House. This was disappointing because we were hoping to access within walking distance. Instead we had to leave and exit the park to go back and forth.

   Should I stay at Volcano House in Kona?

   • If you're staying in the Kona area, one day simply isn't enough time to drive the island and see and do all the incredible things there are to do in the area. An overnight stay is required, and I definitely recommend Volcano House for that.
