Vytautas married Ona, the daughter of Sudimantas, a Lithuanian noble, in about 1370. Vytautas and Ona had a daughter named Sofia, who married Grand Prince Vasily of Moscow in January 1390. After Ona's death, Vytautas married her niece Julija. Vytautas' other children must have died young and are not known.

Vytautas, also known as Vytautas the Great from the late 14th century onwards, was a ruler of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. He was also the prince of Grodno (1370–1382), prince of Lutsk (1387–1389), and the postulated king of the Hussites.

Nov 27, 2023 · Vytautas Landsbergis graduated from the Lithuanian Conservatory of Music (now the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre) in 1955. The author of more than 30 books, his early works focused on the composer MK Čiurlionis, the subject of his PhD thesis. He became a professor at the conservatory in 1979 where he worked until 1990.
