Aug 10, 2023 · Very interested to see what this storm brings for Whitney. Lone Pine is currently forecasted to be directly hit by the remnants of the hurricane, and Mountain Forecast has the freezing and could see 4+ inches of precip, and Mountain Forecast has the freezing level at 14-15k feet during the storm.

Oct 3, 2015 · Joined: Dec 2009. Posts: 213. Las Vegas. I am in favor of both this bulletin board and the portal board staying alive. Two different perspectives about the same subject matter (generally) is always nice. It has now been at least 10 days that the portal board has been inaccessible.
Jul 20, 2020 · Will be heading up to Whitney Portal later this week. Can anyone confirm if the portal store is open/fully operational and is serving food as usual. Thanks in advance!
