      • Marjorie Lord, an actress who achieved success as the comedian Danny Thomas’ wife on the Emmy-winning comedy series “The Danny Thomas Show,” but to her frustration found herself being typecast as a housewife for years afterward, died Nov. 28. She was 97. Ms. Lord died at her home in Beverly Hills, Calif., according to her website.
