Here, we have two FMJ bullets from X-Treme and Sierra. We can already see a $13 (115gr) and $17 (124gr) difference between X-Treme’s plated and jacketed bullets. Starting with the 115gr, Berry’s plated bullets (11.70 cents each) cost even a bit higher than X-Treme’s FMJ (11.21 cents each).
Jul 25, 2014 · I'm looking for copper plated bullets for my .45 ACP pistols. Hard cast lead bullets foul up polygonal rifled barrels pretty badly and the accuracy drops off quickly. Any recommendations for plated bullets? A Google search brings up Xtreme and Berry's, any others out there?
Jul 7, 2017 · I use the X-Treme plated bullets for my 380, 9x19mm, 9mm/40 (357 Sig), 10mm, 10mm short (40 S&W), 45 ACP, 38 Special, 357 Magnum, and 44 Special/44 Magnum loads. Loads that might exceed 1200 fps are treated to their HPCB (Heavy Plated Concave Base) or HP bullets.

Jun 27, 2016 · The plated bullets shine like fine jewelry and if they shoot half as great as they look I will be more than satisfied. For the past 7 years I have exclusively reloaded Berry's and Ranier plated, and they ARE fine, but for price and quality I think X-Treme has just won over someone who will become a loyal customer.
