Jul 22, 2022 · The romance is sweet and endearing and the comedy is passable at best, though the film is more of a drama than a rom-com. There is a clear attempt to highlight the importance of communicating one's wants and needs to their partner and to themselves. The romance is just a means of accelerating those topics. In that regard, Holmes manages just fine.
