As on Fernwood, Martin Mull portrayed host Barth Gimble and Fred Willard appeared as sidekick/announcer Jerry Hubbard. Frank De Vol also returned as bandleader Happy Kyne.
America 2-Night: Created by Norman Lear. With Martin Mull, Fred Willard, Bill Kirchenbauer, Frank De Vol. In the second-season version of "Fernwood 2Nite," the small-time talk show from Fernwood, Ohio has moved to Alta Coma, California, where it has taken on a more national flavor.
