  1. SCHEDULES. Tours are offered morning and afternoons, starting at 9AM and 1PM, 7 days a week. We are open 358 days a year, and closed during major holidays. The tour lasts 2-3 hours. You will be getting out of the tour guide’s vehicle to pet the horses, if you choose to.

  3. Each tour lasts approximately 2-3 hours, depending on how long it takes to locate the horses. Your visit begins outside of Jackson, Kentucky, the capital of Breathitt County. You will travel into the mountains with a guide in a vehicle suited for mountain roads (both paved and dirt).

  5. We will take you into those mountains so you can get up close and personal with our free-roaming horses. Many are very friendly and will come up very close, while others are more shy and will look but not approach us. The tours last 3 hours, and will be led by a local resident Tour Guide.
