Archibald Selwyn (also Arch or Archie Selwyn; November 3, 1877 – June 21, 1959) was a Canadian-American play broker, theater owner and stage producer who had many Broadway successes. He and his brother Edgar Selwyn were partners.

A year after moving in, Goldfish partnered with Broadway producers Edgar and Archibald Selwyn to form the film-making venture Goldwyn Pictures—a combination of the two surnames. In 1918 Goldfish legally changed his name again, this time to Goldwyn.
A prominent figure in American theatre and film in the first half of the 20th century, he founded a theatrical production company with his brother, Archibald Selwyn, and owned a number of Selwyn Theatres in the United States.
