It is legitimate and a scam. You can easily spend $1,000 and there is no guarantee that the book (which you did NOT write) sells. The company is flooding Audible with redundant marketing trash-book-content. I was disrupted and did not purchase or agree to anything.

Audible has the worst customer service out of any company I have ever dealt with in my life. They like to ignore messages and pretend the problem doesn't exist. They claim they cannot refund me due to a bank error, but surely had no problem taking the money out of my bank in the first place.
