Catherine's boss and close friend Joe Maxwell ( Jay Acovone) hired Diana Bennett ( Jo Anderson ), a criminal profiler with the police department, to track down Catherine's killer. Quite naturally, her investigation ultimately led her to the now darkly obsessed and grieving Vincent.
