In connection with a sale, the Company is shutting down its operations and intends to wind-down and dissolve in the near-term.

  3. Beauty Counter. A friend of mine just became a consultant for Beautycounter to supplement (not replace) her income. Which was confusing to me, because she recognizes that it is an MLM and she does not like MLMs at all. I asked her about it and expressed concern that she is more likely to lose money than earn by becoming a consultant for an MLM.

  4. The problem with beautycounter is the same problem that all MLMs have: they are predatory and ran almost cult-like. The CEO is being blatantly dishonest. MLM products are almost always overpriced garbage that could never survive on its own. MLMs prey off of vulnerable women often at the worst possible time.

I recently formed a new company which was able to acquire some of Counter Brands’ former assets, including the rights to sell Beautycounter products in the future. I originally planned to launch this new company this May.

  7. I’m already seeing top Beautycounter huns teasing new MLMs. What?! The funniest thing is how huns go so hard convincing us that their current hustle is the answer to all our problems, but how can that change so fast?!
