With an average temperature of 56°F, it is a bit on the cooler side, but it does reach the 60s during the day thanks to the California sun.
Apr 30, 2024 · From traveling around during March, here are my favourite spots to explore…. 1. Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve. For a truly awe-inspiring experience, I’d recommend taking the winding dirt road through Antelope Valley in Southern California.
- Na Pali Coast, Hawaii. Everyone knows that Hawaii is the place to go to in the United States for the ultimate tropical vacation. Still, many people have never heard of the Na Pali Coast which is a beautiful 17-mile stretch of coastline on Kauai that makes for the perfect spring vacation destination in March.
- Antelope Valley, California. It’s only about an hour away from the bustling city of Los Angeles but it seems like a world away from the madness! You’ve likely never heard of Antelope Valley, but with its cooler temperatures and lack of large crowds, it’s an amazing place to visit in March which also happens to be poppy season.
- San Francisco, California. San Francisco is an iconic place to visit any time of year but in March, you get a combination of comfortable temperatures that are neither too hot nor too cold.
- Fredericksburg, Texas. Fredericksburg is known for many things including its wineries and its vibrant German culture. In March, it’s known for its warm weather with an average temperature of 74°F and fewer crowds than you’d see in the peak summer season.
