- Joe Alt, Notre Dame Fighting Irish. As was the case for quarterback, running back, wide receiver and tight end, an argument can be made that 2022's best offensive tackle in college football is returning to school.
- Graham Barton, Duke Blue Devils. Barton was one of the best all-around tackles in the country as a junior this season. In fact, he was the only Power Five tackle who posted 85-plus grades as both a pass- and run-blocker.
- JC Latham, Alabama Crimson Tide. The fact that Latham is playing at an elite level shouldn’t be a surprise. Coming out of high school in 2021, he was the No. 2 overall recruit in the country according to the On3 consensus ratings.
- Olumuyiwa Fashanu, Penn State Nittany Lions. Fashanu is also a serious challenger to Alt’s OT1 status in the 2024 draft because he would’ve likely been a first-rounder in 2023 had he declared.

- Peter Skoronski. , Northwestern. Skoronski took over the starting left tackle job after Rashawn Slater graduated following the 2020 season. He has started 15 games and was on the Outland Trophy watch list in 2021.
- Cooper Beebe. , Kansas State. After earning First-Team All-Big 12 honors as a redshirt sophomore, Beebe checks in as a Top 20 On3 Impact 300 player. Beebe has piled up 21 starts over the last two years and became the youngest offensive lineman ever named to the All-Big 12 First Team by the Associated Press last season.
- Anton Harrison. , Oklahoma. Harrison has played extensively for the Sooners over the last two years, picking up 12 starts in the 2021 campaign. He checks in as Mel Kiper’s No. 7 offensive tackle on the ESPN analyst’s early 2023 NFL Draft board.
- Joe Alt. , Notre Dame. As a freshman in 2021, Alt played both tight end and on the offensive line. He eventually settled in at tackle and started the final eight games.

- ANDREW VORHEES, USC TROJANS. Not only is Vorhees the most underrated player on this list, but he’s also one of the most underrated players in all of college football.
- DAWAND JONES, OHIO STATE BUCKEYES. Jones is a monstrous right tackle at 6-foot-8 and 360 pounds with a 7-foot-5 wingspan. The 2019 three-star recruit — who also received several Division I basketball offers — earned a 90.6 run-blocking grade in 2021 — the fourth-highest mark among Power Five tackles.
- JORDAN MCFADDEN, CLEMSON TIGERS. McFadden has produced at a high level in the collegiate ranks. The 2018 three-star recruit owns single-season PFF grades of 88.3, 83.5 and 87.4 over the last three years serving as a reserve, starting right tackle then starting left tackle.
