Kentucky Dam on the Tennessee River on the Livingston - Marshall County line, Kentucky. The dam impounds Kentucky Lake, the largest of TVA's reservoirs and the largest artificial lake by area in the Eastern U.S. The dam is 206 feet high and 8,422 feet long and was built between 1938 and 1944.
