The Cairo Tower (Egyptian Arabic: برج القاهرة, Borg El-Qāhira) is a free-standing concrete tower in Cairo, Egypt. At 187 m (614 ft), it was the tallest structure in Egypt for 37 years until 1998, when it was surpassed by the Suez Canal overhead powerline crossing.
Located on Gezira island, within Cairo city, Cairo tower offer breathtaking panoramic views of Cairo city and river Nile. There's a restaurant on the top floor. Ticket office is outside, at the entrance. Qasr e Nil bridge & 6th of October bridge, both connect Gezira island with downtown Cairo across the river.
