Lloyd made more than eighty screen appearances between 1970 and 2003, almost all in television series, including a recurring role as Assistant District Attorney Carol Baldwin on Magnum, P.I. from 1983 to 1988. She also had recurring roles on The Gangster Chronicles as Stella Siegel, and Hill Street Blues as Nurse Linda Wulfawitz.
Kathleen Gackle (born September 13, 1948), also known as Kathleen Lloyd, is an American actress and film producer who played A.D.A. Carol Baldwin in the original 1980 series Magnum, P.I. She also appeared in The Missouri Breaks (1976), The Car (1977) and It Lives Again (1978).
This episode marks the first appearance of Carol Baldwin, the attorney friend of Magnum. Although she is portrayed by Patty McCormack here, the character became better known from later episodes, being played by Kathleen Lloyd.
